Update:
I changed the key combination for the toggle modern app to shift+f1, but after some time the shift key was like "locked".
I could not do anything anymore. Everything was like having a pressed shift key.
After logging off and logging on it is gone.

I cannot find a keyboard shortcut to toggle modern apps which does not "hang" after some time

I was unable to reproduce this issue. Does it depend on what application you switch to from one of the windowed Modern applications?

Could you send us your configuration files using the Send to Tech Support tool (Configuration files > Tools > Configuration > Send to Tech Support). Please add a link to this topic to the email.
