I was struggling with the Excel 2007 sort dialog when I realized I had installed 8.4 beta 1. The symptom is that the sort dialog is unresponsive. The only action that works is clicking the close X in the upper right. Once I excluded the dialog box from AWM the sort dialog functioned as expected.

Update - This is occurring in other office 2007 applications. Seems to be a common dialog box named NUIdialog.

Hi Steve,
I am having the same issues with Office 2007. Even dialog windows like the Options in OneNote 2007 are unresponsive. I have returned to version 8.3. Hopefully it will be fixed in the next beta.
Best regards.
