Since moving to 7.1 beta 2 my pinned icons don't group with launched applications. I get this:

Image Link

Notice outlook, explorer... end up on the end of the taskbar as a program group even though the application is pinned. The pinned icons also can't be removed but that has already been mentioned.

Thanks

Hello Peter.

I was unable to reproduce this problem with Windows 7.

Try to install 7.1 beta 1 again, make some changes in your pinned icons, check whether it is possible to unpin it. Then install 7.1 beta 2 and check whether the behavior has changed to desired behavior. And let us know whether it works.

Best regards.

Sorry its taken a while to get back on this. I have worked out more specifically what the issue is now. It seems to be when I restore settings from a backup which I do on each launch of my work computer as it loses settings due to a mandatory profile.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Pin a program to the start menu at this point the pinned icon is grouped with the launched application
2. Backup settings
3. Restore settings
4. Icons are not grouped with launched apps and any newly launched apps are the same

Hope this can be reproduced.

I was unable to reproduce the issue making these steps.

Please try the new beta and let us know if the problem still persists?

Best regards.

I can't reproduce it.

Are the configuration files the same as you've sent us about this problem ?

Best regards.

Yes configuration is the same, but I can reproduce it on a different Windows 7 machine from a fresh install.

Hello Peter.

Does the issue still persist?

What version of AWM are you running now?

Best regards.
