Hello Pim.

As i understand, your configuration window opens in fixed size (1024 x 768 on the first monitor and 819 x 768 on the second) after having exited and restarted AWM again. And it doesn't depend on what size that the window had before closing, am i right? Because i can't reproduce this behavior. The configuration window opens to the size it had before maximizing. Both in the case of reopening and after having exited and restarted AWM.

Anyway, we'll try to fix it as soon as possible.

Hello Bogdan,

You are right: the configuration window opens to the size it had before maximising, and not always 1024 x 768 or 819 x 768. That was when I was trying to find out more about the issue and I never tried changing the window size before maximising. Therefore in my case it was always 1024 x 768 or 819 x 768.

Best regards.

Hello Pim,

I'd like to inform you that the subject issue has been fixed. The fix will be available in the final version 7.1.

The issue did appear only if the following conditions were true at once:
  • Window Settings page was active
  • Index property sheet had a scroll bar in the normal state of the Configuration window
No other conditions are required. Failing any of above makes the issue disappear.

Thanks for the heads-up Alex. And indeed: those settings are the default settings on my laptop.

Best regards.
