run notepad
right click notepad task on taskbar. system shows notepad's system menu (the same on as when you press alt+space)
press "c" using keyboard

there's 50% chance it will make it gonna close but other 50% chance it won't, the menu is just keep still there, nothing happen no matter how many times i press "c"

you may try it repeatly by typing something into notepad so "c" won't close notepad but give you a confirmation to save notepad, you may press "esc" to cancel and retry it repeatly

Hi Moo Tinys,

This may be a behaviour I've seen with another program but I can't be certain. Could you provide more details about the Notepad problem.

moo tinys,

I'm not seeing that here (Win 7 64-bit). I tried right clicking the notepad icon in the taskbar on both my monitors (default and secondary) while Notepad was both maximized (ie visible) and minimized to tray. It made not difference, I consistently get the menus that I expect.

What version of Windows are you running?
