After installing 6.1 b1, I received the following error message:

Corrupt files detected
The Console Windows Support executable files are missing or broken. Please re-install Actual Windows Manager. If this will not help please contact our technical support.

I reinstalled AWM (without first uninstalling) and receive the same error message, and receive the same error message each time AWM is run. I only use the console mode occasionally and am considering just leaving everything as is due to not wanting to deal with the trouble of uninstalling and reinstalling AWM.

Is there any way to try to resolve this issue without uninstalling and reinstalling AWM?

Thanks!

I have this issue as well. Should I uninstall AWM before installing the new beta?

Just to note - I did NOT have this issue under Win 7 64-bit. I installed AWM beta over version 6 without any trouble.

NB I DID exit AWM before running the beta installer, though...

Gentlemen,

Sorry for such problem. We know about it and we'll fix in next beta.

Please, reinstall your versions (uninstall with reboot of computer and install again) or install to other folder.
