I would like to see some type of desktop icon save/restore feature. Quite often when I change resolutions for from single to dual montior windows messes with my desktop icons.

Thank you for your request. I'd like to inform you that the requested feature is already in our wishlist and it's planned to be implemented in the near future versions (5.2 or 5.3).

The subject feature has been added in the recently released beta 3 of Actual Window Manager 5.4.
