I have Windows 10 and Office 2016. I am unable to minimise the Office 2016 Windows using the normal control box at the top right of the window because the Actual Multiple Monitors screen switch control is always on top of the Minimise control.

Hello, Keith

This is the known problem, we'll try to fix it.

For now, as a workaround you can use the "Shift the buttons horizontally" option (Configuration module > Window Settings > Specific Setting for an Office 2016 app > Title Buttons > Options section > Shift the buttons horizontally). Specify the value "2" for this option. Although, in this case it works not exactly correct (shifts the buttons too far), but, at least the Windows title buttons aren't overlapped.

Could you also tell me, what version of Actual Multiple Monitor are you running?

Best regards.

Keith, the reported issue has been fixed in the just released Actual Multiple Monitors 8.7 beta 2. The fix will be also available in the final version 8.7, if you prefer to use stable releases.
