I've confirmed this with several computers and versions 8.1.3 and 8.22

Outlook version 2013

Windows 7 64-bit

If either app has been idle for a few minutes, when you go to use them they freeze for up to 1 minutes and their screens turn white. The behavior is very consistant
Ive tried switching the video cards in the PC from an intel to an AMD ATI but same issue. I have to remove AMM to get it to work and sometimes use system restore

I've had the exact same thing on my Win7 x64 work laptop. In fact I've had so many troubles with AWM on Win7 and Win8.1 I've stopped using it in favor of an alternative.

Hello gentlemen,

Could you provide us your configuration files (Actual Window Manager/Actual Multiple Monitors -> Tools -> Configuration -> Send to Tech Support)? If you don't want to install our product again, please send us (support@actualtools.com) the Actual Tools folder from your %AppData% directory (if you didn't remove manually).

Could you also provide a more detailed description of how to reproduce the problem? How long MS Outlook should be idle so you will be able to reproduce the problem (1, 5, 30 minutes etc.)? Should all system be idle so you could reproduce the problem our MS Outlook only (i.e. if you will work with another window in this idle period, will you be able to reproduce the problem with MS Outlook window)?

Scott, please specify other troubles you have noticed.

Best regards.

I don't believe this is limited to Outlook 2013. I've never seen this described behavior in Outlook 2013, but have seen it in frequently in "Foxit! Reader" since the 8.3 Betas started. I haven't noticed any time delay, it either works correctly or it doesn't. When the 'white' client area event occurs it can be as simple as covering the application over with another then moving that application out of the way and the client area of the offending application is now drawn. At other times the resolution is to close the application and reload.

I've also noticed a "significant" number of "flashing" events that now occur in AWM which never occurred before (perhaps the last three-six months). If I unload AWM the "white" client area and "flashing" disappear.

Windows 7 Ultimate, 64-Bit, SP1, GeForce GTX 480, Driver 347.52

Sincerely,
Lars

Hello gentlemen,

Mas,
Unfortunately, I was unable to reproduce the problem using the step by step description you provided. Are you able to reproduce the problem using your method each time?
Please specify your version of MS Outlook 2013. I'm running MS Outlook 2013 v.15.0.4535.1006 (32-bit) on Windows 7 x64.

Lars,
Could you provide us your configuration files (Actual Window Manager -> Tools -> Configuration -> Send to Tech Support), specify your version of Foxit Reader and provide a step by step description of how to reproduce the problem?

Best regards.
