In Windows, when pressing the windows-key and a number (1-9), it becomes a shortcut to start that program based on the ordering of icons on the taskbar. If the program is already running, the shortcut switches between that program's open windows. If the shift key is held, it opens a new instance of the program.

Can AWM be adjusted so we don't lose those abilities? Currently, AWM opens a new instance every time.

Win7/Win8.1 Pro (x64)
AWM 8.3b2

Hello Steve,

This component (win-key + a number) hasn't been implemented yet.
We'll inform you if/when it will be done.

Currently, AWM opens a new instance every time.
Unfortunately, I was unable to reproduce this.
Could you specify your OS (version, bitness), version of Actual Window Manager, send use your configuration files (Actual Window Manager -> Tools -> Configuration -> Send to Tech Support), attach a screenshot of the system taskbar properties window (Taskbar tab) and provide an example (a detailed instruction) of how to reproduce the issue?

Best regards.
