Actual window manager 7.5.1

Bit late to complain about this version but here's my notes from what happened.

Setup virtual monitors
Set to independent
Set hot key to switch between them
Set hot key for 'next virutal monitor'
A window opened showing the 2 virutal monitor thumnails.
Clicked one of the thumbs and all my windows disappeared
Clicked the other one, and they were still missing
Closed the virtual monitor window, no change.
 Can't open the virtual switcher....

Did a bunch of enable/disable virtual desktops, change the hotkeys keys, etc
At no point did the switcher reappear on the screen.

Issue finally resolved by pressing 'stop' on AWM system tray icon.
I was not sure what 'stop' would do.  It should say "Turn Off AWM"
All windows returned to the screens.
Pressed "Start" and all good still.

But still no switcher when enable / disable the virtual desktops.  "Show VD Switcher should be an option on this configure page....
The feature should have more controls from the control center, like the switcher functions should be built in t here.  If I add a virtual desktop, I should be able to tell it 'go there now' etc.

This should not have been so hard...

Dear Chuck,

thank you for your post.

Could you please check the latest Actual Window Manager beta version (it's free until its expiry) for the problems you previously encountered and the shortcomings you mention?

Best regards.

Please note that the beta version might contain errors, bugs and other problems. You should not use it while working on critical tasks!
