I'm seeing a strange issue with AWM and Win8 when I alt+tab fr om a metro style app.

The task switcher window appears and the metro app disappears, however, I'm now stuck in a limbo state wh ere the task switcher window won't go away and I can't click on it or do anything with it. I can't alt+tab back to the metro app either. Occasionally it will get stuck as if I am holding alt+tab down and it starts to cycle rapidly. The only way to get out of either of these scenarios is to bring the start screen back up and click on the desktop tile. This is annoying when the task switcher window is stuck on screen and almost impossible when it gets stuck in the cycling mode.

If I disable AWM completely (reboot required, stopping or killing doesn't work) then everything works normally.

Actual Window Manager 7.5.1
Windows 8 Pro x64

I am not using Windows 8... Sorry  :|

Edit: You may want to check out whether this is the same issue (I have not read this entire thread, so I do not know whether it is similar to your issue). If it is the same issue, you may want to download the latest beta.

Looking forward to that fix. Running without AWM feels very... archaic.

Does Actual Window Manager 8.0 solve this problem? If so, is upgrading the only solution being offered by Actual Tools? Given that I just purchased AWM7 in March and have been unable to use it for 20% of the time since purchase (I notified Actual Tools of this issue at the beginning of July), could I get an additional discount for the upgrade?

- This problem has been fixed in the current 8.1 version of Actual Window Manager (download link - http://actualtools.com/files/aimsetup.exe ).

Could you confirm this?
